Federal Minister for Finance and Revenue Senator Ishaq Dar chaired a conference at the institution of passport headquarters, at the Finance Division, told a press clearance handed out on Monday.
Internal Minister Rana Sanaullah Khan, SAPM on Revenue Tariq Mehmood Pasha, secretary interior, special secretary finance, chairman NADRA, DG Passport and Immigration and senior officials from the bureaus concerned followed the conference.
The conference was educated of the rendition of the Passports and Immigration headquarters and studied the existing layout of visa headquarters in the nation and abroad.
The conference was knowledgeable that more than Rs26 billion has been put aside in the federal treasury due to the allocation of 4.5 million visas to date.
The session also contemplated on the institution of Passports Processing Counters and Mobile Register Vehicles in affiliation with NADRA in the remaining neighborhoods of Pakistan utilising functional aids for utmost facilitation and assistance delivery date to the public people.
Finance Minister Dar underscored that the administration is furnishing ultimate buildings to the people in all sectors despite restricted aids and economic challenges. The finance minister further appreciated the actions of the Interior Ministry for the institution of Passport Processing Counter centres in far-flung regions of Pakistan and expanded entire partnership and backing.
