The Secret to Effortless Presentations: Google Meet's New Feature is a Game-Changer

Google has added a new feature to its video communication service, Google Meet, which allows users to share the content they are presenting during a meeting with attendees including those on the Calendar guest list. The feature simplifies the sharing process by allowing users to share directly from Meet’s floating action menu or Meet Chat suggestion, eliminating the need to switch to another window. This makes it easier for attendees to follow along and access the material later.

Whenever a link is pasted into the meeting chat, users will be prompted with a file access dialogue to adjust access as needed and attach the file to the calendar event. This new feature makes it easier for attendees to follow along with the presentation and find the material later on.

In addition to this new feature, Google recently announced another new addition to Meet – the ability for users to view their speaker notes while presenting Google Slides within Meet. With this new feature, users simply need to click the speaker notes button in the Slides controls bar to display their speaker notes within the call.

This combination of features makes it easier for meeting attendees to follow along with the presentation, access material later, and continue working on action items from the meeting. These new additions are expected to enhance the overall experience of using Google Meet for presentations and meetings.

In conclusion, Google’s new feature in Meet makes it easier for users to share content and speaker notes during presentations and meetings, which enhances the overall user experience. This helps attendees follow along and access the material later, making Meet a more effective tool for communication and collaboration.
